Adiponectin 1

* One of the hormones produced from a fat cell is adiponectin. Other hormone such as leptine and some cytokines are produced by fat cells. To overcome metabolic syndrome and obesity it is important to decrease leptine and increase adiponectine.

* As written above, adiponectin is the hormone produced from the pancreas increasing the sensitivity to insulin, burns the fat and functions to prevent thrombosis and arterial sclerosis.

* The amount of adiponectin secreted from a swollen fat cell is little. So the sensitivity to insulin becomes low because of the decreased amount of adiponectin secreted when one is obese and so it is thought that the risk of becoming metabolic syndrome increases.
